Industria Granitex Commercial

The Industria 600 x 600 x 60 mm slab holds a special place within the Industria collection’s vast array of color, texture, and size combinations. While all other Industria sizes are 100 mm-thick pavers, this slab is made thinner for use on rooftop patios, pedestal applications, and pedestrian-only spaces. With Techo-Bloc, thinner, however, does not mean brittle. Industria’s HD2 Granitex finish gives it added protection against the sun’s powerful rays — a very useful attribute on a sunny rooftop terrace. HD2 also makes it more resistant to scratches and stains, while making it easier to clean. Unlike its polished and smooth counterparts, Industria Granitex has a coarse, granular texture that makes it slip-proof, while remaining ADA compliant. This large slab’s square shape and refined slim joints give it a look that is both modern and timeless. Combining different textures or colors can be an interesting way to create contrast and to add character to any commercial or institutional pedestrian space. Being mindful of solar reflectance indexes and choosing lighter colors such as Greyed Nickel or Beige Cream will help keep this slab cool underfoot around the pool or help to keep building cooling costs down if used on rooftop patios. Like all Industria products, this concrete slab is de-icing salt resistant.
