SB-4000 Water Repellent & Salt Blocker is a water-based silane/siloxane penetrating sealer suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on new or existing horizontal and vertical surfaces. This breathable sealer can be applied immediately after most installations without trapping natural moisture or efflorescence, while for new concrete, it is recommended to apply SB-4000 after a 30-day curing period. SB-4000 effectively protects surfaces from water infiltration and salt damage caused by de-icers or salt air, making it an ideal solution for long-term durability. Its powerful water repellency reduces biological growth, including mold, moss, and algae. Non-hazardous and compliant with VOC/EPA standards, SB-4000 applies as a milky white liquid and dries clear on most surfaces, with some darkening slightly. The cured sealer withstands temperatures as low as -60°F (-51°C) and up to 180°F (82°C).
