Ocean Grande’s exquisite waves are one of the most distinctive finishes within Techo-Bloc’s texture arsenal. As its name suggests, the charisma of this large slab was inspired by the interactions of the sea and the shore and is finely rendered using Techo-Bloc’s patented HD2 technology. The resulting unique texture is sure to add a sense of refinement to any large-scale slab project. Ocean Grande’s complex surface is counterbalanced by its muted color palette and large rectangular format to ensure a tasteful and balanced look. More daring or seasoned designers may choose to combine this slab with the compatible Blu, Blu Grande, Valet, or Squadra to create a play on texture, color, scale, or pattern. Ocean Grande pairs particularly well with the Blu Grande HD2 Smooth slab in the same color. When used together, these similar  slabs generate some subtle contrasts and add visual interest to any upscale project. While its large size makes this slab suitable for rooftop patios and pedestal-related applications, many prefer to exploit its non-slip properties at ground level around pools and other water-related areas. Ocean Grande’s light color scheme is a useful ally in the fight to reduce the urban heat island effect, while its soft knolls help keep it particularly cool underfoot. Although visually delicate, this concrete patio slab is de-icing salt resistant and remains a durable solution for any pedestrian-oriented space.
