Is Industria Flora durable in outdoor conditions?

Yes, it is designed for exterior use and performs well in outdoor environments when properly installed.

Can Industria Flora be installed on rooftops?

Yes. It is compatible with pedestal systems, making it suitable for rooftop terraces and elevated spaces.

Does Industria Flora need sealing?

Its HD² surface provides enhanced protection, though maintenance may vary depending on exposure and use.

How much maintenance does Industria Flora require?

Regular cleaning with mild soap and water is typically sufficient.

Can Industria Flora be used for driveways?

It is primarily intended for pedestrian applications and decorative outdoor spaces.

Can I mix Flora slabs with standard Industria slabs?

Yes. Flora is designed to be combined with standard 600×600 slabs for mixed layouts and custom designs.

What patterns are available?

Six floral-inspired patterns are available: Rosemary, Daisy, Lily, Daphodile, Jasmine, and Dahlia.

What base is recommended?

Use 4-8 in (100-200 mm) of compacted aggregate on sandy soils or 6-14 in (150-350 mm) on clay soils, plus 1 in (25 mm) of bedding sand. For pedestal systems, install on an appropriate roof deck designed for this application.

Can Industria Flora be installed on pedestals?

Yes. It is compatible with pedestal systems and can be used in rooftop installations.

What joint width should be used?

Use consistent nominal joints of 1/8" (3mm).

Flat vibrating plate compactors are not recommended for use on slabs. Roller plate compactors may be used with caution. However, due to their large format and flexural behavior, any mechanical compaction carries an inherent risk of cracking.

How should patterns be installed?

Patterns can be installed as full layouts or blended with standard slabs, such as 75% smooth and 25% Flora.

What should contractors consider when ordering?

Patterns are for design inspiration; installers are responsible for calculating quantities and layout requirements.
