Should I fill the openings with grass or gravel?

Both work, so it comes down to look and upkeep. Grass gives a soft green surface but needs mowing and watering like a lawn, while aggregate gives a firmer, more defined surface with less routine care. Pick whichever suits how you want the space to look and how much maintenance you want.

How do I handle snow removal, especially over grass fill?

Never use de-icing salts on the grass, as salt will damage it. Set the snowblower blade to leave a 3/4 to 1 1/2 in (2 to 4 cm) layer of tamped snow, which protects the grass from extreme cold and keeps it from being torn off during removal. What base does Aquastorm need?

It depends on the infill. For aggregate infill in a permeable application, set the units on an open-graded permeable assembly so water can pass through the base and into the soil. For grass fill, set the units on 1 in of bedding sand over a typical paver base of compacted dense-graded aggregate. See the installation guides before you build.
