SB-1000 PermStik is a water-based hybrid polymer designed to bond ASTM #8, #9, or #89 aggregate chips in permeable paving systems, reducing scattering and loss due to forces like washout, traffic, and pavement sweeping. Suitable for outdoor use on new or existing horizontal surfaces, SB-1000 can be applied right after installation. Its breathable formula prevents moisture and efflorescence from getting trapped. SB-1000 also protects against water, salt, and surface weathering, helping to preserve a clean, natural look while providing stain resistance for easier cleaning and maintenance. Formulated with an antifungal agent, it resists mold, moss, and algae growth on the sealed surface. Non-hazardous and compliant with VOC/EPA standards, SB-1000 is milky white when applied but dries clear on most surfaces. The cured sealant withstands temperatures from -60°F (-51°C) to 180°F (82°C).
