The Story Behind the Transformation

When work first began, the property was in a state of transition — the original home had been taken down to its bones, and a new guest house that doubles as a wellness center was being added beside it. Nothing outside felt defined yet. The homeowners knew this was their chance to create something that felt truly theirs.

They didn’t want a landscape that looked like everything else in the region. They wanted something modern, refined and inspired by the places they had traveled — a look with character, intention and a sense of personal meaning. Loft 64 helped shape that vision into a cohesive plan, guiding the homeowner toward a space that felt calm, contemporary and expressive of who they are.

Mountain Point Landscape brought that vision forward. The transformation isn’t just about new materials. It’s about giving the property an identity that reflects the people who live there.

Balancing Scale and Detail

With such a large property, the main challenge was ensuring the outdoor spaces felt connected. The landscape included several different areas — walkways, courtyards and places for gathering — and the goal was for everything to come together as one cohesive experience rather than separate zones. Mountain Point Landscape focused on shaping the layout so each area related naturally to the next. Their work brought clarity to the overall flow and helped define how the outdoor spaces would function once the home was complete. Squadra and Westmount pavers add refinement in the areas where it appears, giving key points in the landscape a more detailed and intentional feel. Together, the material choices and layout create a modern, unified environment suited to the scale of the home. lead to the home’s entrance, framed by elegant arches that set a distinctly European tone and establish the material language for the rest of the design. Products that Brought the Vision to Life

Squadra brings the charm of classic cobblestone into a modern, elevated expression. Its small, almost cubic format introduces texture and detail that stand out quietly—adding depth without overwhelming the space. Raffinato caps accentuate subtle elevation changes, guiding movement from walkways to raised seating areas and down into a sunken dining space. On the driveway, Westmount pavers are laid in an intricate mosaic pattern, creating a striking yet refined first impression. Used thoughtfully throughout the landscape, these elements create a finely woven, crafted feel that reflects the homeowners’ desire for something unique and personal. The result is a composition defined by subtle character, clean geometry, and a finish that feels intentional, balanced, and refined.
