The story behind the transformation

Before its redesign, the backyard was paved in aging rainbow stone, visually busy and too cramped to feel inviting. With limited square footage and the need to balance parking with a place to unwind, the space felt more functional than livable. The homeowner envisioned something elevated, calm, and beautifully practical.

Rosete Hardscapes LLC approached the challenge with a simple question: How can every inch work harder without sacrificing creativity? By rethinking the layout and reintroducing greenery, they shaped two harmonized zones: a Westmount patio for gathering and an Aquastorm surface that manages parking while staying soft and connected to nature. The result is a small backyard that is quietly full of life.

Why these specific materials made the difference

Aquastorm pavers in Grey were chosen for the parking area because they solve several needs at once: strong enough for a vehicle, permeable enough to manage rainwater, and designed to let greenery grow through the joints. Instead of another fully paved surface, the homeowner gets a functional parking area with the look and softness of a lawn.
