A Gateway to an Arts-Forward Community

Visualize an arts-forward waterfront community, developed on the former site of a coal-fired power plant. That’s the story behind Lakeview Village, one of Mississauga’s most ambitious urban redevelopments. The Discovery Centre set the architectural and performance standards for the district. Its pedestrian forecourt — built with Techo-Bloc’s Industria HD² Smooth series — brought those standards to the public realm.

The forecourt supports high pedestrian circulation, withstands Ontario’s freeze–thaw cycles, and integrates seamlessly with surrounding architecture and landscape. The space marries modern landscape design with civic purpose. Proof that beauty can be durable and adaptable.
